Steve Foss
The glass just popped off my headlight and got lost this morning on my 1980 Exciter 440, and of course snow got in and burned out the bulb, so I need to replace it.I'd never really paid much attention to it before, but it looks for all the world like an auto headlight assembly. Is that right, or is it specific to sleds?
Red Cabin
If it were me, I would gather the peices and take them to an auto parts store. You should be able to match it with something there.

Steve Foss
Sorry my first post wasn't very clear. It wasn't just the bulb I needed but the glass lens, too.Figured it out. Bought a bulb at Joe's Marine for $2.34. But the glass lens just fell out this morning and is lost, which is what caused the bulb to blow in the first place. I may have a line on a whole headlight assembly for $10, but if not I'll cut a piece of plexi to fit the shape of the lens and fasten it on to keep the snow out. No prob there, unless the heat of the bulb wants to melt the plexi. Thanks for the help, tho!
NAMASafetyDirector
There's a headlight assembly in good shape with a burned out bulb on the bay of E for 10 bucks!
