my cable froze on the wheeler and i gave the throttle a push now i have the thumb lever in my hand. does anyone know if you can buy just the thumb lever? it for a 99 polaris thanks chad

You should be able to just buy the lever.

called around today and was told it comes only as an assembly. 150.00 bucks. anyone know of any juckyards?

If you search the forums for ATV Salvage, you should be able to find past discussions. I think there's one in Northern MN. Otherwise the only other one that comes to mind is Sport Wheels in Jordan.
