Make sure you get one that fits the dog properly. I have one for my dog but no longer use it as it chafes his arm/legs pits....whatever you want to call them. I also think it will keep them warmer in warmer weather....which is not prefered.

Here's the one I have:

Thanks Hemi. Is that the Remington Brand?

I will look when I get home and let you know. I like this particular vest and the idea.....I just personally didn't find it practical. I will probably think otherwise when I am in the vets office getting a chest stitched up.

Man I hate barbed wire. mad

I have the same vest as Hemi and no it is not Remington. The remington has yellow on it - I believe.

My Griffon loves this vest as it does not keep the heat inside the vest during early season. It is also very durable and is very adjustable and there is NO velcro. I cannot think of the name brand, but I am sure Hemi will confirm.

I really don't find any vest practical early season when the dogs have a relatively easy time through normal grass. When it comes to late season, it is very easy to get punctured going through the cattails when they have fallen down. I have not run into the barbwire incident yet, but I am not sure these vests will make things any better if they get caught in it.

The 3 point harness is also a cool idea.

I've got one I use on my Brittany that looks the same Hemi's it's called a Skid Plate. They work great, wouldn't leave home without one! Why they didn't put blaze orange straps on the top side still has me wondering though....
