got a 2-3 in gash in tire last nite loading the wheeler into my truck - I thought these tires were tough? any suggetions 160.00 for a new tire. I am dissapointed though it could have been worse could have slid off of the ramp and smashed the heck out of my wheeler and my head.

With a slice that big, about all you can do is replace it. $160. for a new one is waaaay too much. Shop the internet bet you can find one for about half that.
