gunflint
It's time to start cashing in the Cabela's gift cards Santa brought me. One thing I wanted to do this winter was replace the line on my marker buoys. Does anyone know if "Decoy Cord" will work? Or is it too thick? Other options? Thanks. 0 Huey
Decoy cord works well. I put that on my marker bouys. It just a little heavier (and stronger) than the original white string.
0 efgh
Mason line, the line masons use for laying block I found is real good. It is nylon and is real high test.

0 Walleye Guy
I used the old super braid line that I strip off my reels at the end of the system. It works great and is a secondary use for something I normally throw out.
0 gunflint
I was thinking about that. I'll be stripping of about 150yds of 15# PowerPro off my baitcaster soon. Maybe I'll give it a try.
