wiring a heated sheild in polaris???

I got my wife a polaris helmet with a heated sheild for christmas, can anyone tell me the best way to wire it up to a 95 indy 440. No battery, the wires did not come with instructions just says 12 volt, 2 amp.Going to my folks for christmas so I will be without a computer for a couple days, Thanks for any replies.

i didnt personally wire mine into my old 97 indy 500 but the guy that did looks like he just taped in to the ignition wire where the key goes in. idk if thats the proper way of doing it but i ran it for a year and a half with out any problems and he knows what hes doing so that would be my best bet.
