I took my 08 silverado in for an oil change and the fella said i have wheel seals leaking, It has 84,000 miles on it. Is this covered by the warranty or am I out of luck?

I don't quite know how to explain this to you. Your truck is an '08, GM has a powertrain warranty till 100,000. They should have explained this to you when you bought it. Bring it in.

I would call a dealer with your VIN# and see if it is covered!

New GMs do have a 5 year or 100,000 mile warranty, which ever comes first. I think you are still good, unless they pull the you have no records or maintenance at the dealer, motor companies love using this line.

I had my truck in for an oil change at the place i bought my tires, and that was one of the numerous defects they found. It was the fella at the cashier who tried to tell me they wouldnt be covered under the warranty.

Well, what's the verdict? Was it warranty or not, or not really leaky seals after all?

I havent had a chance to get it into a shop yet hopefully tuesday or wednesday. I need it for work so its hard to find time to sneek it in.

I had it in yesterday and they fixed it with no questions asked , So now i wait for the next shoe to drop with the truck.
