1.4 converter lense question

Is it possible to put these on " backwards" and still be able to take a picture.

Mine won't mount to the camera backwards.

Um, not that I know of. Any reason why you ask?

I let a friend use my camera. I think they may have tried to attach the lens the wrong way. I can not attach it now.

OOOOOhhhhh. There is a male end and a female end of the TC, and not all lenses accept a TC. Do you have the specific information, exact lens, exact tele-converter, camera?
