Brule River

When will the Brule be opening up? Is there a bunch of ice like their talking on the big lake?. Fished the Brule a few years back,ran out of time due to work, kids etc, schedule opening up again, thinking about making a spring run. Any info would be appreciated. Fish on! < )////>=

I believe it opens below Hwy 2 on March 29. The upper part above Hwy 2 opens first Saturday in May. Always check the regs the Brule is broke into 4 sections all with different regs.
