Socks?

Just curious what socks to use on cold days. Do you use a thin wicking sock under a wool, or just one of the smartwool socks. Gonna make a sock purchase this afternoon. Thanks.

I purchased the Tec-Spun brand and I really like them. They have a liner sock that wicks away moisture and then the wool/poly type sock over it. My feet do not get sweaty in warmer weather or walking but do stay very warn in the colder temps.

These are hands down the best sock system I have ever used. Even better than my Smartwool.

They are a bit pricey but look to be a high quality sock that will last me a long time.

If you have good boots with good moisture management, then wearing one good pair of wool socks should do it. Then there's how to wash your wool socks on gentle. Always turn them inside out and pick out the pyling off, on gentle dry.

I like smartwool socks myself.

Smart Wool are nice for everyday socks, but Under Armour and Filson socks pwn Smart Wool in demanding conditions.
