Dahitman44
so I bought the old 340 and now I would like to reduce its speed so it is safer for the kids. The boys wil be 9 this spring so I think i should limit it -- right?A guy told me to put a small piece of wood under the throttle and a hose clamp --Is this safe? Is it smart?Anyone else do this?thanks
Shack
Rap large amounts of electrical tape around handle bar of sled, right by pivot of throttle thumb lever. Basically when the throttle is pressed, it will stop when it hits the tape. My dad did this for me when I was younger on our old Ski-Doo Olympic 340. It was a 1970 and I think it said to do this in the owners manual also back then
