Making your own jig heads

so im thinking of making my own jigs.

is it worth it?

what is a good starter kit to buy?

any info would be great.

what kind of jigs are you looking to make? it is an addiction just like anything involving fishing, If you are just getting into it and arent sure how far you wanna go with it i would suggest the kit that do-it molds sells it includes a melting pot, ladle, mold, paint and hooks for the mold. that will get you started, the next step up will be more molds and a Lee Melting Pot, which will run you aboot $60. Depending on how many jigs you go through in a season i would say it is worth it.
