ATV on Public Land

I picked up the Sportsman's Connection atlas yesterday, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if ATV's are allowed on the dark green public land areas for deer hunting? I've checked the DNR HSOforum and can't find anything regarding this. The only rules I can find are related to hours of use.

Each area might have their own rules. The SC maps are very general in defining public lands. Rules for WMA's, state forests, national forests etc all have different rules. You would have to know which areas you are interested in to get the right response.
