My cousin works with that site, and is friends with the guy who shot it. 230 inches indeed. I'm sure that's gross.....but back to the topic.

SE MN has far greater potential in terms of numbers of larger bucks. The habitat is larger, better, and more rugged, and plain and simple, the amount of calcium in the soil which is directly applied to antler growth is astounding. It's a virtual buffet of deer fattening crops with the corn, beans, and alfalfa as well. Winona and Houston counties within 30 miles of the river is where I'd target if I had my choice.
