Adding a Gun Box to the Boat

Looking to add a small gun box to my 14' boat. No idea on how to build (probably only steel or aluminum) or where to purchase one. Any idea's?

I have always thought about putting one in my boat just dont see the need for it and it takes up space and adds weight.

do some measuring and make sure exactly were ya want it go buy the lumber and put it were ya want it. if your boat is wide enough put them crossways in front of the middle seat. my buddy just built a boat I will see if he can send me some pics and show you how he did it. I put them on the left side. stay tuned...

I built one out of green treated ply wood and its nice but its to darn heavy I'm going to try and find a used aluminum tool box for a truck and turn it into a gun box bolt seats to it and away you go.
