Pheasant calls

Just wondering if anyone out there has used a pheasant call? I have seen some around on some store web sites and I am curious to see if they are any help.

Not that I use them, but I have seen them used.... sometimes it works. Not to call them in, but to locate. The guy I speak of, blew the call and another cock cackled and he said.... Ok, lets hunt here and we did. Kinda like a getting a turkey to gobble just to know if they are there. Not sure it is gospel or anything, but it was interesting, it worked two of the five or so times I saw him use it. And yes, we kicked up roosters in places where nothing answered the call. So who knows, maybe they were not very sociable????
