Grouse Reports anyone

Any reports on grouse from last weekend?

I would normally wait until the leaves are less full, but I'm heading up this weekend to the Walker area. Family commitments (actually I should be committed) force me to go early.

If you see a yellow lab and blue Subaru wagon, say hi!

We were around Mora, saw/heard quite a few grouse over the weekend despite the poor weather. As usual in our area we saw lots and lots of woodcock. We did manage to knock down 4 grouse between 3 of us, all young birds. We were nowhere near where you'll be going but this is all I have to report.
