BobT
Quote: “get rich quick” malpractice lawyers I know this won't be a popular statement but I don't agree with this one. The lawyers that file the cases aren't the problem. The court system is the problem. Not the system in itself but the judges and/or juries that continue to award attractive results. The attorneys that file these cases are only practicing their trade. They don't take these cases on their own. Someone hires them. Bob
DTro
Yes, Bob I would expand my statement to include the system, but it's tough to let the lawyers off the hook after watching all their ads on TV every day, trolling for clients I think everyone agrees that the US system is a mess. Good Topic Scott, it's nice to get the point of view from real Canadians, straight from the source.

robert1965
so again the mess we go through here. is horrible, I don't care if I have to wait a while to get in. and as you say, if your issue is dire there's not much wait, from what I gather. why is it much smaller countries have universal coverage. are system is all about the pharmaceutical companies etc. with there hand were it should not be, it seems to me to have insurance, regardless is so much better, work out the kinks next issue.
