So I guess if you were shooting and encore in .220 swift you are legal.Personaly .357 with a 4" barrel is the smallest I would recomend. I use a 6.5" .357 and feel very confident that it would do its job out to 35 yards. Short barrels that handguns have dont lend themselves well to good balistic performace.
