Aqua View repair

Have 5 year old Aqua View VS model. Must have wiring loose in the camera. Has anybody tried to pull the camera out of the rubber housing to try to fix wiring? Probably just easier to send it in I guess...anywhere recommended?

I just fixed my last week. there pretty easy to pull apart and tinker with my neighbor is an electrition and fixed it in a second. so if you want to have someone that you know look at it pretty quick I would try that first and then send it in.

Once you open up the waterproof house, I would guess Nature Vision would be hesitant to repair it.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I figure the electrical end of it would probably be easy, but reusing the clamp over the rubber housing might be tricky to get it tight enough. Guess I'll send it to NV and give one of their repair guys some work. Thanks for the replies fellas.
