1975 evinrude 25 hp runs bad at slow speed need help

I need help. i just bought my first boat and motor. I know pretty much nothing. Starts fine for the first fire of the day.

Will not run at low speed it just dies than its hard to start. I have to pretty much keep it reving than jam it into gear Then goes ok at high speed but try and go slow and she sputters and misfires and dies. a buddy told me that it could be a cracked flywheel it happened to him please help me

Yep, sounds like it's time for a carb rebuild.

Do a quick compression check before rebuilding the carbs. Had similar sypmtoms to yours and it was bad compression on one out of four cylinders.
