How was the Buffalo Chip? Everyone I talked to said it was so crazy there that they'd never stay there but go for the concerts and leave. What's it like staying there for several days?

I did not camp there. Only seen a concert.

Bummer!!!

Ended up canceling Sturgis trip to stay home and support my wife and mother-in-law. Mother-in-law was in hospital and not doing well the week before Sturgis and took a turn for worse on Friday 8-1-08.She died on Monday 8-4-08 and we had the funeral on Friday 8-8-08. Knew her 45 years and never a crossword. She said she was Happy! on her last day. She got to see all her family and have them with her when she passed away plus her preplanned funeral was the most perfect.
