Transducer knock on my Fishmark 320

Hi Guys,

I powered up my Fishmark 320 out of the water and when I turned it on I noticed my transducer emitted a knocking noise (for lack of a better word) and when I touched the transducer it pulsed very noticably. So I went out and purchased another to compare it with and that one did the same thing.

Is this normal? I am concerned about the noise affecting my fishing success. Can any of you check out your Fishmark's and see if yours does the same thing?

That pulsing is perfectly normal with a transducer when it is out of water.

Agree, it's normal. For all transducers.
