The deadline to submit MN Fall Turkey applications is fast approaching.

Fall wild turkey hunters may apply through Friday, July 25, 2008.

New this year: One 30-day season (October 15-November 13) in permit area 601. If you wish to hunt in 601 apply for 601C. Permits available for 601C -1, 000.

Successful applicants in the drawing will be mailed the 2008 Fall Wild Winners Notice as their winning notification by mid September.

Here are the important Minnesota dates.

Fall Turkey Hunt Lottery Deadline 07/25/08

Fall Turkey hunt - 1st season 10/15/08 - 10/19/08

Fall Turkey hunt - 2nd season 10/22/08 - 10/26/08

Here are the important Wisconsin dates.

Wisconsin restructured their 46 turkey zones to 7. They also now allow using dogs for Fall Turkey hunting in select counties.
