Ants!

We have been infested with ants. I have Terro out inside, but I one time had some powder I put around the outside that worked better but I can't remember what it was or where I got it. Any ideas?

Helpful hint for ants in the house. Put out some cornmeal. The ants find it, take it back the the nest and the colony eats it. For some reason, ants can't digest cornmeal and they die with overstuffed stomachs. And its safe around kids and critters. Sounds crazy but it works.

The local big box store sells ant baits for the inside(pet safe) that the ants bring back to the nests. Find out where their coming in and blast them w/ant spray outside, and repeat till their gone!

Jeff, place a line of liquid dish soap by your front door or anywhere they can enter the house. Any entry location. I personally have seen this work.

I don't know what the powder was, but Home Defense from Ortho works great. I know several people, including myself, that are impressed with it. The box stores and your local hdwe stores carry it.
