Steve and Kens fox all grown up ?

We had a fox in our driveway this week and I knew there was no way I could get the door open so the shots are out the dirty windows but the markings are very similar to the kits that they have shot.

Jim, you've got images of a gray fox there. All color phases of red fox have a white tail tip, and all gray fox have a black stripe down the top of the tail and a black tail tip.

I grew up not too far as the crow flies from Deer River, and we've seen a grey fox on the back forty during deer season the last couple of years. Pretty animal! Nice shots!

Thanks for the heads up on the Grey fox. This one was shot in Carlton and the reason he was hanging around is that he was eating sunflower seeds that I had cleaned out of the bird feeder. Who new that these guys are vegetarians
