Deitz Dittrich
What do you want to know? There is really 2 seperat lake connected by a channel.. One side is very shallow, the other has some deep water to it. Both have good numbers of bass, and depending on the weather, one can outproduce the other. The deeper end is smaller. Water claity is average, and as far as vegitation goes, has your typical weed for this area, Curly pood weed, cabbage, lilly pads, reeds, ect.. coontail as the season progresses. The lake has some decent fish, a 4lb fish is not uncommon yet many tournaments out there seem like 14 lbs is good enough to win. but again, depends on the weather, I have been on it when 8 lb have won, and when 20+ have taken it. Cabela10
What do the bass relate to on Coon. Is it more a dock lake or outside weedline lake? I've been out there a few times with little to no luck.
Matt Johnson
Spent some time on Coon Lake yesterday and found most of our fish shallow. Inside weedlines are still kicking out fish. Not too many fish on the docks, but then again we had a cloudy/windy day. A lot of fish came on spinner-baits with a few coming off slugs pictched up into the thick of things. A lot of pike out there too, so if you decide to toss a spinner-bait then be ready
