I will be staying at Perrot State Park the last weekend in June and I am curious about fishing potential in the area. Sounds like there are canoe rentals but I am not sure what body of water they are one.

There is the Mississippi River and the Trempealeau River. Looks like Trempealeau Bay might offer some fishing potential but I can't find any reports, contour maps, or even a list of what fish are available.

Anyone have any insight on the area? .
