Best time? Cold fronts..etc..

I spent about three hours on Saturday and two hours last night down at Lions Levee park trying for Carp. (On the main river, not the launch area) Nothing Saturday was pretty cool, cloudy and very windy..last night was very cool and still very windy and very cloudy. I was using corn on a #6 hook...any ideas on why I got nothing?

Are they spawning there yet? If so, that's why. They're not thinking with their stomachs during the spawn.

YOu'll know if they're spawning. There's lots of splashing and thrashing.

Gee, duh...that seems simple enough. Didn't see any of that though. Pretty quiet on the river..are Carp effected by cold fronts like other fish?
