heat checker
How big of a job is it to replace a cam? Any special tools required? Was told the rocker also needs to be changed at same time so new cam doesn't wear. Does this apply to the intake rocker also?
Dave S
One of the biggest things when replacing your cams is to make sure your timing marks line up right. You can punch a valve through your piston if everything isn't lined up right. You'll need a torque wrench to tighten everything down per manufacturer specs. The job can be accomplished by the average shade-tree mechanic with the manuals available.
