macro mode

I'm looking for a point and shoot digital with a close-up feature and a telephoto one also. I'm not having much luck finding a camera with both features ...anybody have any suggestions.

Powershot S5IS 12 power zoom and great macro. I still have an S2IS but hope to upgrade someday.

Panasonic DMC-FZ8. I have the FZ7 and it has a 12X zoom and real nice macro mode. You can also add an Olympus 1.7 conversion lens to give you over 20X optical zoom.
