Tenting season is great this time of year

What a great weekend to camp (last weekend).

We set up the tent Saturday and I slept out with the kids. The ground got a lot harder than last year. I'll take the matress in the camper this weekend.

I was out all weekend turkey hunting with a friend. We did stay in a camper, but it was pop-up style so the only thing between me and ma' nature was some canvas and screen.

We had some rain and some wind, but nothing terrible. It sure was nice reading a book with the screens open and the wind rushing through staring at the river.

For anyone who's never been to St. Peter, their municipal campground is small, but beautiful. The price is right, the location is great and its very well kept. I will stay there again.
