lake minnetonka for opener

going to minne this opener weekend. this will be our 3rd time going there for opener. never got a walleye there yet. dont know where to go. renting a boat from howards point. first year caught a nice decent pike and than just had a bunch of muskies.(released of course) but no idea how to catch or where for walleyes. any good advice on where or what techiq works? we just used minnows on leaders and sinkers. only bites are by the channels where the bridge are. get some bites but lose the hook most of the time so no idea what it is. any advice would help thanks for the replies if any! looking forward to being a active member on here!

North shore of the big lake. Minnows on rigs. Slow..very low. Evening to 10PM...then get off the lake.
