Which chip to get

So I was thinking of getting a new Lowrance 522c and you get a free chip with them. I have the 07 lakemaster chip and from what Thorne Bros told me that is what you get with it. Would you get another to put at the front of the boat or would you get the Fishing Hot Spots map? I don't think I'll be using the GPS much on my x17 at the front, probably just more of a sonar.

Each has there high lights you need to see what will work best for your style of fishing. Theye are both great maps. The 08 Nav North has 70 new HD lakes and Hundreds of added DNR'ed. As well as some road detail if that helps you out. If it was me I would sell what ever chip i got to get the 08 Nav.

The 08 Lakemaster is not included in the free chip rebate from Lowrance. Only the 07 Lakemasters, fishing hot spots, and Nautic Path.

To answer your question. Get another Lakemaster to put up front! Fishing Hot Spots is very very vague. It is a large region chip that has almost no accurate detail.
