Starting to get some warblers in now. Just had a Golden-winged in at the feeder!

Good sighting, Bruce! I've only seen a handful of yellow-rumpeds so far, but I expect more within the week. And hummers won't be too far behind.

I'm doing a little spring cleaning and he catches me off guard, no camera in my hand at the time. I've never seen one before, but he has very distinct features, and was easy to spot in my book. Also just had what I believe is a yellow warbler. He was on the move so I didn't get a good look.

Saw my first backyard Oriole this morning in Lakeville and a Brown Thrasher last week... spring is here... finally!

Mom saw her first oriole this morning at Spring Valley and we both saw a rose-breasted grosbeak at our sunflower feeders. Time to get my sugar water feeder out tonite. Bluebirds were checking out the housing market in the pasture last night. Plenty of vacancies.
