Waterproof? I have had mine buried with snow and pounded by rain but anybody ever had one fall in the water before? Wanna take mine out in the kayak but don't wanna dump it.

Not real sure on that. You could always contact Vex and see what they say. I would assume they are, but I don't know about taking a dump in the water.

They are water resistant I'D say. If submerged long enough some damage may occur.

"They are not waterproof" is what the guy from Vexilar told me when he repaired mine. HTB
