small engine question

GotOne

Question

My son added some straight gas to the tank that still had some pre-mix in it. Oh, this is for our leaf blower/vac. It was running fine and then just quit (with gas still in it). It looks like mostly straight gas left in tank. Anyway, the pull cord was hung up or froze, was able to get it free by pulling a little harder than normal. Will not start, it has good spark. Tried a little starting fluid and it will not even pop or fire. Any thoughts????? Thanks Bill

If you need mixed gas dump out all the gas in the tank and add some mixed gas to it. Then check the plug to see if it is wet, if not put a little mixed in the plug hole and put the plug back in. then see if it will start or fire. If it fires it probly will need the carb rebuilt. But if he ran it awhile I would say it's toast.
