Sounds good Bob!

These contests are a lot of fun. I plan of fishing a couple if not all of them this year again. They have been profitable for LFC and me in the past ;\)

This year my I’m going to have to win just to pay for my gas \:\(

That is why I am allowing the e-mailed pictures, to save some of you from having to drive back up here. I will miss the pizza parties, but my wasteline will be ok with that. I was going to cut out a portion of the MN as a protected area but that might have appeared mean

Becuse this year we will be using control items, and by popular demand, we have opened another body of water for the up coming contest. Besides the ones mentioned earlier, we have added the St Croix river form down stream of the Stillwater bridge to the Confluence of the Mississippi at Prescott. We are looking forward to a fun season with these.

Good idea with the control item Bob ;\)

I hear you are a bit under the weather. Those guys must have ran you into the ground up on the Rainy.

Get well soon.

BTW, I wouldn't be opposed to a PayPal account for the entry fee either ;\)

At this rate weather may play a factor in how things go. I do plan on either being better, or on some sort of meds, but I will be out there. My brother will be in town for this one (hope he stays long enough), I guess I need to prefish and worry about making a post on KOTC, just to break the ice and get ready for the big one in only two weeks. Good luck gentlemen....not

Looking to get out and pre fish this weekend.(Bob says I'd better do so)LOL!... As of right now I have bullies, and the other bait tank has chub/suckers. The freezer has plenty shad also. Should be an interesting first contest of the year.

Looks like a great time. I almost missed this posting.

It looks like the people who fish these outings are the heavy hitters. I can't wait to see what gets registered.

Are we supposed to get the control item at Moore's when we sign up?

Come next Saturday when most people will be picking up bait and signing up, I will be giving out the control item. To those that have already signed up, they can call me the day of to get it. But not really needed since my brother has just blown into town, and the two of us will be out there somewhere. Mr. Demars, still no word from you, are you still on the fence?

I am wondering if anyone plans on hitting Blackdog from shore? I might be a little late because of a grad party, but if I do fish, especially at Blackdog, I don't want to do it alone.

As much as I wanted to get out and prefish, it might not happen.

This contest should be interesting, totally up in the air as to what will happen.

I know where we'll be fishing, and I know there are some active fish there.

Good Luck to everyone.

I've got a couple good ideas where some active fish should be and plan on finding out this evening.

Should be fun! I am going to try and make it one way or another down town for this.

Anything become of the Pay Pal thing or could you pay over phone if I am running late as always.

Thanks Bob

Flaco651, while you were out lastnight did you find out any spots? Was thinking about fishing this weekend thought you might want to share acouple of good spots with some people. Only interested in fishing them for a night, then I would let you have them back. Let me, or anyone here on line where they are

Very funny Bob.

They may have found some spots, but possibly limited to shore fishing frown

Bob, you might have to offer a seat in your boat in exchange for some info wink

Nope, back in business!cool Last evening we ran into some motor problems but it is taken care of now. Fished for a total of 15-20 minutes and decided we'd better head back down river. We'll be out tomorrow night again. If not, I'll resort to some old high water spots that have produced.
