Does anyone here know anything about Valley Creek in Washington County?

I know that there are no public easements and the landowners will watch you like a hawk and call the sheriff if you step out of the stream.

That is what i hear as well.. but is it worth the effort of staying on the stream bead and dealing with all those dirty looks?

it is worth the effort. the U of M and tax payers like you and i have put alot of money into this stream. this is probably the only stream i will ever talk about on here and there are plenty of fish. try to land as many fish as you can in front of the landwoners that think the stream is theirs!!!

I electro shocked that stream 2 or 3 years ago... there are some NICE fish in there. And they come out of surprising places too. I've never seen so many decent size brookies come out of 6 inches of water before.

Ditto to what uwecsteeple said though, they really watch you closely. I've never fished it myself, might have to pop over there one day

What road is the best spot to access it? I would like to give it a try that is closer to my house that most other streams. Thanks

If you get a plat book of Washington county you will see exactly how to get around down there and who owns all the land. Plat books are available at most public libraries, I get mine at the U of M which has an entire map library! Or you can just look on google maps and it will show you too.
