snapcrackpop
Anybody use or know about a cart to help haul gear in and out?I was thinking about a one or two wheel (bicycle style) stretcher/cot contraption.Family is headed to Glacier National Park this spring and it might be helpful on day hikes to haul stuff with it and if the 6 year old gets tired. pulsar_nx
I've used one at a state park that was built heavy. It was work but cut down on the trips to the car. The one your looking at sounds like it would be quite abit lighter and probably easier to push.
snapcrackpop
A deer cart would be too heavy and noisy. I've been doing some searches on the internet, but can't find what I like. I think one wheel would be better for uneven terrain, with handles at one end and the wheel near the other. I keep picturing a red triangular shaped canvas cot. It's so clear in my mind, I swear I've seen one. Guess I'll have to make it myself. Ya, right.

snapcrackpop
Exactly. Except lighter and packable/folding.
Redlantern
I'd suggest checking with Glacier Park about using them. There might be rules about their use and if they're allowed, they might have some suggestions on what other folks are using.
