Queenswake
I last fished there 10 years ago. At that time, it was great for LARGE panfish. It held the largest panfish I was catching in the metro area at that time. Little boat traffic and light pressure with Minnetonka being right next door probably helped. The only weird thing is that the panfish were deformed. They had indentations in them and were oddly shaped. I called the DNR about it but I don't know if they ever followed up on it or not. I should have kept a fish and gave it to them so they could see. I stopped eating them because I came really squeamish because they looked so weird. Nothing was wrong with the meat, but who knows what was causing them to be deformed. I wish I had pictures of them. They were huge though.
bassNspear
Legend, welcome to FM. Glad to see you here with the family.I speared this lake alot last year! There is alot of fish in this lake from what I and the guys that went with me saw. There is alot of monster panfish in here, along with a few walleyes. Again, we were in about 10 fow, so that can be different in deeper water. The lake is very clear, and your going to be able to see along ways down. This is a nice little lake, which holds a few fish for all types.
