Non-Oxy gone?

I went to my local gas store this morning. I usually run the non oxy in my little jetta because I get around 29 to 37 mpg with the non-oxy. It is not super important though. My concern is what to run in the boat? The clerk told me you can not get non-oxy in the state of MN anymore. Any truth to this? And if so, what to use?

I know BILLS stations sold it last year. Have you checked any of those yet?

no. you have to search for the station, but they still sell it. i have several places around duluth and outlying areas i can get it, but with the current crop of politicians, who knows what the future holds

Go to the Minnesota Street Rod Association's Web Site. They have a Non-Oxy list that covers the State they published in March 2008. Go to the "Features Tab" and scroll down.

Haven't checked in the last couple months, but the BP station on 25 and 10 used to carry clear premium, at least in the pumps facing McDonalds. Also, Red's in Monti, as well as the full serv station down near the hospital carried it as well I think.

Hope this helps,

Grant

Actually it's funny you would mention that one Grant, That is where I allways go to. They no longer have it. None of the BP's around do. Is regular 92 octane going to be O.K. to use? These motors would be super expensive to replace.
