Lisa, I was instructed to get in touch with you on this one by a fellow FMer. I'm told you live near a lake that I frequent in the summer but I absolutely can't find anyone that knows when that bay opens up. You know the one...it has a few orange buoys marking it off as "spawning area" but there's never any dates on there and every time I call the DNR they have no clue. By the time I wind up getting in there it's so weed choked it's almost funny. I'd like to get in there sooner if possible. So when am I legal to fish that long skinny bay on Lake X?

Yup that's a lake trout! She's a beauty and a total adreneline rush complete with shaky hands reeling her in. I can't wait till next winter.
