Grand architecture

Thought this county building in Carrington ND just needed to have it's picture taken on Saturday. I really like the detail put into these old buildings.

Hey paul,

Do you also go through Cooperstown? Cool old county courthouse there too. Also on the same grounds is the first permanent settlement, an old log cabin.

Cicada, I was thinking the same thing. I used to work in Cooperstown occasionally and always admired their courthouse.

I like the shot. If you're interested in playing with PS I think it might also look good in a sepia tone or aged to look like an old photo. Something I do every now and then just to practice with PS. Cool buildings.

I get through cooperstown every now and then. THere is also a very cool courthouse in Elbow Lake MN and another I know of in Madison MN. I think that a lot of the work was done by the WPA during the depression years.

They recently completed some renovations to the Lac Qui Parle County courthouse, and it still has that grand old look to the exterior.
