Flasher Issue, What do you think

On two occasion this season while fishing in a small bay by myself my flasher was lighting up like a Christmas tree and I'm going to send it back to Marcum to look at but I was thinking about something. Is it possible that one of the houses wireless connection could have interfered with the signal on the Marcum?
