CB, some of them were from ponds and some are from Bayous and Rivers. When I was younger, like 20 years ago, we fished the White River a lot and got quite a few biggins out there. The 12 my grandpa caught was on a pond, but it is hard to put into perspective how big one is, until you actually see it.

My 7 was on a pond as well, I wont try to deceive anyone. But the way it was caught was just a ton of fun. Lets just say a 2" senko is going to be one of my favorite finesse baits for the season this year.

My biggest in Minnesota came from Chisago, the year after the 12" minimum was put on the lake. I got one that went an easy 5.5 closer to 6 down the shoreline a ways from my grandparents old house. I was wearing the waders on opener casting a Chartruese and Nickle spinnerbait. I picked off another around 4.5 that same day closer to their house too.

If guys don't wish to say the lake name, that is fine. I can understand that some big fish are caught in small bodies of water. I had a pike pond that I will never name the location of. Under 10 acres and loaded with thick pike, many good days out there.

Look how clear and nice that picture is. Nice fish.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I dont know if I want to intimidate people with my 2lb 3oz monster.

All-in.. You bet baby.. and would never give any of them years away.. I was smart, I married a girl from up there, so my in-laws are up there. My second home!

all kidding aside, Bemidji area has some of the best bass fishing in the state.. Everybody is so pumped about he walleye fishing up there, which is good, that the bass is ignored... Had some of my best fishing in the Bemidji area, bar none! its the only area I have gone back to back 6+ lb fish.. and had a 5 fish limit that was more than 28 lbs...

Yep, teacher here as well although I'm a Saint Cloud State alum.(93-00)(yeah I know thats 7 years, don't ask.) GO Huskies! FYI... 37 days till opener walleye, pike. 44 until Bass opener, and 61 more days till Summer vacation. I am for sharing big bass but the lake should be optional because of the previous stated reasons. A good picture though should be manditory.
