Neoteric Neova 6 Hovercraft Hover craft boat or land.

This is a 1986 NEOVA 6, H 1, Hover Craft by Neoteric . I purchased this craft from an elderly gentleman who had it in storage for 5-7 years (low hours). I have been fixing it up over the past 5 years. We put in a fresh motor, 318 Chrysler, V8 with 50,000 miles.

New skirts and bottom bags summer of 2007. There are 65 skirts and 8 bottom bags. New hood actuators, and digital controls instead of foot controls. Unit has about a foot of lift or more. Gas tank is about 25 gallons. Brand new camo paint job, very nice. It will attract attention when you are out playing with this, Or load up your friends and go late ice fishing.

We have done a lot of work on this unit it is in good condition. We even have the original owners manual and parts book and schematics. The company is still in business so parts and service are still available. Pretty maintance free, mostly its just the bags and normal engine care. We have invested $8,000. into this unit in new parts ,not including purchase price. It has about 260 hours on the timer, maybe 50 hours on the motor. Unit is titled and registered as a boat.

This unit sold for over $50,000. new, price tag in manual. We have also built a dolly for loading this unit onto a trailer. I have the Parts book and manual for the unit. I have contacted Neoteric and they say all parts are still available. The book even tells gas consumption for conditions you are doing. 5.4 gal/hr at normal curise. 125 miles on tank at normal cruise conditions. Weight is about 1900 pounds empty. Speeds: 30-50 on beach surface. 30-40 grass. 40-60 on ice.(ben there) \:D 30-50 firm snow.

This is ideal for early and late icefishing or getting to those areas that are impossible with other ATVs. Some of the draw backs are hills or sharp inclines. It is not made for climbing hills. Slopes can be done if you keep up your ground speed. From water right onto land and back on water. Floats like a boat when shut off.

This unit can be driven on Water, Snow, Ice, land. It can handle up to 3 foot chop on water. It can hold up to 4 adults in the cab. It has a heater in the cab for winter use. Unit is 19 feet long and 9 feet wide. Twin fans are in good shape and work great. Belts are also good. This unit is ready to go play with.

It just got a bran new camo paint job. Looks awesome.

This unit is a real blast to play with or great for tourist events. We sold rides at our last few winter events and brought in good $$. I am now moving and do not wish to move all my stuff, so some of the big items I have must go. You will have a blast and turn some heads in this unit. Noise is not real bad. you can carry on a conversation in the cab when running. Out side it sounds like a harrier jet flying by. Very cool. The owners manual tells all the info about the unit, gas consumption, parts, Maintenance, HPG and so on. Thank you and happy bidding. Unit is worth about $20-$25,000. I am asking $16,0000 firm. I also have more vids on http://www.youtube.com search wiskers hovercraft.

I just had this unit out on 02-26-08 on the Minnesota River for about 2 hours. It was a real good time. It is up and running and working well.

I may consider delivery for $.75 /per mile round trip. Depending on location. Lets talk about it before sale.

LOW is a wonder land for this unit. Early Ice or Late Ice is just a bomb. Every one else is just chomping at the bit waiting for that ice to get thick enough to drive on or waiting for the ice to move out so they can get their boats out.. Well wait no more.

Somewhere there is a state record cat cruising up and down the Red with my new Berkley Lightning rod and Abu 7000C3 dragging behind him... .sigh sigh..

LoL, I live down here in Saint Louis Mo and we kno a thing or 2 about them big cats I was about to fall out of my seat when I read this. I have lost 2 setups my self due to massive hits 1 was on the missippi down here the fish took my surge rod with my penn reel and left me a busted up rod holder, and I lost the other 1 in my canoe. Good luck on selling your toy.

    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
