Wave Wackers???

Wondering if anyone out there has fabricated any wave wackers and how they did it?

I made my own out of polycarbonate sheet. I had a friend bend it in his hydraulic press, but you can heat it with heat tape and bend it when it is warm enough. It cuts easily with a table saw or band saw and you can sand the edges smooth. I used aluminum square stock with a channel mounted to the top to hold the splash guard. I used santoprene rubber by the motor to stop the water. I have 5-6 hours into the set and maybe $50.00 invested.

Take a look at Whitecap splash guards too... they're quite a bit cheaper than wave wacker band splash guards - and work just as good.

I also second Whitecaps!!!!! Much less expensive and ever bit as high quality. Excellent customer service also.
