Actually there's 2 Trout lakes by Grand Rapids. One is by Coleraine and there is a campground on County Road 10 and I believe the name of it is "Kom On In". The other Trout lake is connected to Wabana, Little Trout, and Bluewater lakes. My family and I hit it usually once a month to picnic, swim, explore, and fish. I'm trying to talk the crew into tenting it at one of the site's on Trout, but they've gotten "soft" since we got the camper! LOL I think there's 4-6 tent spots to camp on Trout. If you're gonna go that route, I'd talk to the resort owner's on the north side of Trout (off of co rd 49) and see if they'd let you park your veh/trailer at the resort for a small fee. Then it will be safe. Awesome bass fishing throughout the lakes and plenty of gills for the kids. Good 'eye fishing on Wabana and nice gators in Wabana and Big Trout. Lots of nice scenery in that area.
