Smallmouth??

Hey guys I'm heading out to the Missouri River tomorrow and wondering what I should be using to catch some smallies. I know that just throwing twister will catch them, but what other things might work or should I try? Finesse jigs, shaky head, jerkbait?? What do you guys think? I'm just excited to fish some open water!!

I would try some Pumpkin colored Jig and Pig on the rocks

Try to find some slack areas and toss a suspending jerkbait. Another option would be Shad Raps anywhere. Not sure what else - never fished a river this time of year.

Aren't they having a flood right now? Jig and tube, jig and craw, jig and something. It really depends on the temps and clarity. I would assume fish slow as temps gotta be in the 40's. But I dunno.
